4 - أزهار نبات الياسمين البلدى بيضاء تتكون من 5 أو 6 بتلات متحدة يستمر إزهار النبات فترة طويلة من السنة اذا يزهر في فصلي الربيع و الخريف أزهارها بيضاء أو صفراء أو قرنفلية اللون

5 - نباتات الياسمين دائمة الخضرة في حين أن بعضها الآخر نفضي يفقد أوراقه شتاء

التي تعتبر نصف متساقطة الأوراق

3 -تزهر خلال فترة الصيف أو الخريف 

وتبقى الأزهار طوال السنة بعد ظهورها

تبرز الأزهار من بواطن الأوراق 

لها عدة ألوان منها الأبيض ومنها الأبيض المائل للأصفر ومنها الوردي المحمر

ولها رائحة عطرية جميلة
