1 - تشبه النخيل يميزها شكلها الجميل وقوة تحملها
2- يصل طول أوراقها الخضراء ذات الحواف الأرجوانية إلى حوالي 35 سم تزيد أو تقل حسب عمر النبات ومدى العناية به، وقد يصل طولها إلى 180 سم أو أطول .
3- محبة للرطوبة لذلك يفضل رشها برذاذ الماء خاصةً خلال الصيف.
4 - محب للضوء بدون أشعة الشمس المباشرة.
